Our experience over the last 30 years has taught us that we all want the same thing – to get the job done on time and within budget, but always to the highest standard possible.
Our Story
We’ve worked with all the greats, 3M, Arlon, Avery, Oracle, Metamark, etc. and offer our services to all the UK’s primary signage and fleet livery suppliers.
Through our partnership with Solomon Commercials, we’ve decaled literally 1000’s of vans. Tescos, Asda, Sainsburys, Ginsters, Holdsworth, T Quality, to name just a few. Many of these graphics were supplied by Aura, VGL, RGVA, OPG etc. We have a great working relationship with all these firms and continue to assist them with their Fleet Livery branding projects.
The team all have the required certifications: CSCS, ipaf, 1stAid@work, ladder awareness, licensed waste carriers, £5m public liability etc. We can work in non-branded or supplier branded workwear and will always represent our clients in a professional way.

My obsession with sticky back plastic goes back a long way… I blame Blue Peter, not being the best at art classes in school and my families’ Screen Print business based in South Wales in the 1970’s!! Hence bedroom doors and schoolbooks being covered in Busby and Hong Kong Phooey stickers.
Jump to mid 80’s and I start playing with computer cut pre-spaced vinyl decals… any size and font as long as it’s no bigger than 4” and in cooper black… I’ve been involved in graphics and signage ever since… hoardings, sales boards, neon, fascias, directional signs, project management at Benson Signs, done the lot… but my main obsession is still the same: sticky back plastic.
That’s why Garage Signs specialise in fitting graphics: signs, shops, windows, anything… but especially commercial vehicles.

STUART SUTTON
My two strongest memories from being a young lad – the smell of ink and the smell of high octane fuel! Make that 3 things, ink, fuel and the roar of a V8 engine, whether that’s from a Scania 2 14lt V8 tractor unit or Jean Rondeau winning Le Mans in a 3L V8 Ford Cosworth !
From as far back as I can remember I was helping my father Stuart Sutton sign-write trucks, trailers, signs, honours boards, go-karts and rally cars. And this led to my 2 great passions, graphics and motor sports. From starting off work in the motor trade my career eventually took me down the path of sign writing and decal fitting.
As my dad always said, ‘’you work best doing what you’re good at and what you enjoy’’. His other favourite phrase is ‘’you can’t do every truck on the road!’’. This may well be true, but after joining forces with Garage Signs we’ve given it a good go !
